Article 214
Executive powers of the local level

(1) The executive authority of the local level shall be vested in the village executive or city executive under this constitution and federal law.
(2) The local executive authority shall be as mentioned in the list as per Schedule-8 and Schedule-9.
(3) Subject to this constitution and other laws, village executive and city executive will be in charge of general direction, control and operation of the governance system of rural municipality and municipality.
(4) The executive function of rural municipality and municipality will be in the name of village executive and city executive.
(5) According to sub-section (4), the decision or order made in the name of the village executive and the city executive and the certification of the related authority shall be in accordance with the local law.
